Meet Hiacynta:
"My daughter (age 4) comes up to me with a bag full of dough figurines she made at her grandmother's and asks:
- When are you going to work, mom?
- I'm not going because it's the holidays.
- But when are we going to Finnessori?
- Oh, well, as always, on Wednesday and Thursday. Why do you ask?
- Because I'd like to paint these figurines with you... Can we go now?
My name is Hiacynta and this is my everyday life. Four bilingual children (age 2-14) in homeschooling, working in schools as a psychologist and "not working" at Finnessori, because what else can you call it? I help co-create this place very selfishly, for my own children, for friends and for those who don't want to or can't function in the system. And I see more and more of them in my work.
You can meet me as a teacher of preschool classes, creator of various workshops, and giving individual consultations.
Children who have the opportunity to meet in small groups, more under the watchful eye of a mentor than a teacher, who are encouraged to be creative and self-regulate during free play, are joyful children who learn with a smile on their face. This does not negate the need to set boundaries and achieve educational goals. In kindergarten, they are often overstimulated and tired. I did not want this for my children and I see the amazing effects such work brings to our preschoolers.
Finnessori can be such a second home - a springboard, where there is a lot of freedom, but independence and responsibility are also reinforced. Where there are children from different age groups and where the emphasis is on communication and healthy relationships. This cannot be achieved in a random group and so far there have been no coincidences in our team. Maybe you will be another non-random link?"
I invite you ❤️
