I will tell you a little about myself and how Finnessori came to be.

I am a mother of three children, and for six years our family has been homeschooled. Some time ago, we moved from the city to the countryside, because we dreamed of living closer to nature, in a more peaceful, harmonious rhythm :)

In fact, my children were the reason for me to create Finnessori - a place that was not created from big plans or spectacular decisions, but simply from the heart :)

From the very beginning, I had a clear vision: to connect the city with the countryside and to combine the Finnish educational model with elements of Montessori - because that is how we live every day. I wanted to create a space where children can learn in movement, through experience, not only in a building, but also surrounded by nature, among animals, in the fresh air. Because for children, the natural environment is exploration, discovery, asking questions and finding answers in the real world.

And you know what? It's been a year since Finnessori was founded, and April 4 will be the anniversary of when we first met in a small group for classes. It was an amazing time - full of challenges, but also beautiful moments. Thanks to the wonderful people with whom I have the opportunity to co-create this place, we are moving forward and developing with each passing day 💚

And how will Finnessori's outdoor education develop? Well - this year brings us closer to our goal! And honestly? I can't wait! 🌿
